The Salad Spinner The Salad Spinner - if you have never used a salad spinner, get one!
They fling water and dirt off your lettuce, leaving it nicely dry and ready for salad dressing. If your lettuce is dry, you will be able to keep leftover salad in a plastic container overnight without it wilting or becoming mushy. Put a paper towel on top of the salad, put on the lid, and flip the container upside down in the refrigerator. The paper towel will absorb any liquid from cucumbers, tomatoes, etc. leaving you with a still fresh and crisp salad for lunch the next day.
