Radishes
Radishes are a crunchy, spicy addition to any salad. Remove the leaves from radishes immediately when you get home from the grocery store. The leaves will become slimy and rotten within 1-2 days. The radishes themselves are a root vegetable and will keep in the refrigerator for a long time - just like carrots and onions and potatoes.
